Troop OH–7326 was formed in 2024 for the Rossford and Perrysburg, OH and the greater Toledo area. We meet roughly thrice monthly on Thursdays at 6 PM during the school year. In the summers, we run Bible studies so that boys can earn their Worthy Life award. Check the calendar (look for the 🏕️ or red color events) to verify we are meeting. Our troop number comes from Psalm 73:26:
My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart
And my portion forever.
We desire to train boys and young men not only in how to lead and outdoor and adventure skills, but also how to trust Christ for a lifetime and into eternity, such that Christ’s strength will be their own all their life long.
Trail Life is a Christ-centered, outdoor, character development, adventure program open to boys and young men aged 5 to 17. We are committed to fun and adventure with a Christian worldview and consistent morality.
Trail Life’s goal is that boys and young men would learn to “walk worthy” (Col 1:10), which we seek to accomplish through teaching four virtues: purity, service, stewardship, and integrity. We aim to accomplish this through hands-on experience, mentoring, and teaching the Bible.
We have a strong emphasis on being outdoors, which is vital in our digital age. Trail Life aims to have regular outdoor excursions and adventures where boys can learn new skills and put those skills to the test. This could be anything from hiking, canoeing, camping, or more.
